GE HealthCare announced a collaboration with Grand Rapids-based cancer treatment center BAMF Health to advance the adoption of theranostics in the U.S. Theranostics is an emerging technology and a form of precision medicine that fuses imaging technology with therapeutic agents to pinpoint and target cancer cells for destruction. BAMF Health offers molecular imaging for various types of cancer as well as molecular therapy for patients with prostate and neuroendocrine cancer, with a substantial focus on theranostics. Akili, the company behind a video game-like prescription digital therapeutic for children with ADHD, reported a rise in third-quarter revenue to $702,000, from $114,000 in the second quarter of this year, which the company attributes to the continued growth of its adult ADHD offering EndeavorOTC. Boston-based medical technology company Elucid, which offers AI-enabled imaging analysis software for cardiovascular disease, announced it scored $80 million in Series C funding, bringing its total raise to $121 million. Elevage Medical Technologies led the funding with additional contributions from other investors.
