Neil Magny won’t hold a grudge against Ian Machado Garry, even after the heated trash talk between them was used as a weapon against him in his recent custody battle. Ahead of UFC 292 this past August, Magny got into a verbal exchange with Garry where he promised to hand him an “ass whooping,” adding “being a father, I’ve become quite accustomed to that kind of whooping now.” Garry erupted and in return effectively painted Magny as a child abuser. That led to Magny’s estranged wife using that as ammunition in court proceedings as they fought over custody of their…

According to Khamzat Chimaev, if he doesn’t get the first crack at Dricus du Plessis following the new champ’s title win at UFC 297 this past Saturday, the UFC CEO will have some explaining to so. “Who else is going to fight him,” Chimaev told ESPN. “Israel is out [he said] until 2027. All of these guys fought each other. It’s only me who is undefeated and undisputed, so I don’t know. They promised me after the Usman fight that [I] will for sure fight for the title, and I won that fight. I don’t know what’s going on. “I…

Raquel Pennington was crowned the new UFC women’s bantamweight champion with a grueling win over Mayra Bueno Silva at UFC 287. Her first title defense is likely coming against Julianna Pena later this year. Pena, who holds a win over arguably the greatest women’s fighter of all-time in Amanda Nunes, hasn’t competed since 2022, she’s 3-2 in her last five fights, and she doesn’t actually own a victory over anybody on the current, active UFC roster. Meanwhile, based solely on the UFC rankings there are only two fighters competing at 135 pounds under the age of 30 — Karol Rosa…

Tom Aspinall appears to be out of luck when it comes to a potential matchup against Jon Jones. The undisputed UFC heavyweight champion Jones was forced out of the event’s original main event opposite former two-time titlist Stipe Miocic after he tore his pectoral muscle in the weeks leading up…
