It’s long since been the vision of Hollywood that robots and humans would be side-by-side. In some Hollywood films, this partnership is a recipe for catastrophe, but in this suburb not far from Tinseltown, AI and robots are working in a restaurant kitchen. The restaurant, called CaliExpress, can be found in the heart of Pasadena, California. The last victim of the Maui wildfires has been identified, officials said Saturday, bringing the death toll on the Hawaiian island to 100. The victim was identified as Lydia Coloma, 70, of Lahaina, according to the Maui Police Department. Lahaina was nearly destroyed by the fast-moving August fires, with one resident calling it “unrecognizable.” Thousands of structures, most of them homes, burned.Roughly two-thirds of the known victims who died in the fire were 60 or older, like Coloma, according to a list from Maui County.  The identification of Coloma means that there are no identified individuals who died in the fires…

Several camels and zebras were rescued from a trailer fire in Indiana’s Marion County early Saturday morning, police said. The animals were being transported by a trailer that caught fire on Interstate 69. According to CBS affiliate WTTV, the fire started around 2 a.m. local time.It’s not clear how the fire started, but the Grant County Sheriff’s Office told CBS News that the animals survived and were not injured.
